AMF sensor in Astina 1.8 /91
Hi every one!
I am new on this forum and as a owner of a NICE Mazda Astina 1.8 I must ask, if you mess whit the air flow and make it to give more air to the engine, you must fix the AFM sensor (Air flow sensor) Right? otherwise the sensor tell the computer to give more petrol i think. and now to my question, some one now which cable go from the Air Flow sensor to the computer, I found one ho give 5v and go up to 6-7v when i give raise throttle up, light green and brown mark on it. I put on a box whit 2 potentiometers and 2 resistors, then I can cheat the computer. I bee very happy if some one now this thing and can tell me, I don't have a Manual for my car in English only Japanese and that don't help me a thing Thanks if you give me a good answer Tom |

oh, and you want more fuel for the increased airflow. otherwise how would you make more power (assuming good air/fuel ratio)?

No not the eBAY thing, this I make you adjust you self.
But if you give more air to the engine, do not the AMF tell the computer to give more gasoline? its works whit a sensor ho take the temp on air in, and if you give more air it tell the computer to fix that, so I must do something to fix that |

ok i can barely understand you but:
- an AFM measures the volume of air coming in, not temperature - more air + more fuel = more power - more air + less fuel = lean out if you dont add fuel to burn with the extra air you wont see any power gains and at worse you'll lean out i dont think you understand the astina ECU learning either, it will eventually adjust itself to normal parameters unless you make really big changes. the astina ECU will adjust to compensation for the increased air flow and provide the right amount of fuel to match its maps (which are rich, especially at WOT)

I know ! the thing is I gone put on hydrogen in the injection, a gas, so I must manipulate the AMF sensor. do you know witch cable I talk about?
That give me more power and save gasoline. |

The AMF sensor helps the computer to calculate the flow and mass of the air entering the engine. It usually does that by measuring the cooling effect of air flow over a heated wire element. And the question is do Mazda have this type of AMF?

i think its cus the hydrogen might have a different air fuel ratio to gasoline. its cus he needs 1 part oxygen 2 2 part hydrogen. if the stock ecu n injector pump in the hydrogen thinking its gasoline it might (prob will) pump in 2 much making it pointless. i think its like a nos thing if he wants to jack it in gas form or some sht

Hi.
you can lock at. water4gas.com to see what I gone do whit my car You make the gas in the car and use it direct, so no tank needed, And yes the gas change the air flow so I must mix whit AMF sensors to cheat the computer that it have the air it needs already. But lock at the water4gas.com so you understand me Ok. Tom

oh i had a look at that already does it actually work? can the coil produce enough electricity to electrolysys the water? i mean have you actually got the H2 + O2 from water using this

Yes!
This kit take 3Amp and you put in Bakingsoda in distiled water and put on the power the gas start to produce at the same time, it depend how big motor you have if you need 1 or 2 kit. But I gone use another system, I do the gas at home and use a Voperiser (only a glass pot in The car, no power needed) and the people ho tray it save 50-75% gasoline The use this system in war2 on the Spitfire airplane. but you must chet the computer a bit I need to know what cable go from AFM to computer it should have 5v in idle and change when you give gain on throttle .

Hahaha No not so easy my friend! I which I cud do that !
You can lock at the water4gas.com dher you can read all about it. I found the cable and start to test next weak. Ps. do you have a manual for ASTINA 91? their is some thing I wont to know. Take care Tom

DONT "try" to alter the AFM by your self take it to a dyno! Done , end of story!

dyno = dynamometer
or rolling road tuner http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynamometer long story short...puts the car under load...measures alsorts of things, voltage,temp,air-fuel ratios, hp etc, only way to tune a car used for making sure cars dont blowup or waste gas etc

I still don understand way I must use a dyno, Wat I am doing is to putt loaded water or a little bit oxygen in my injection and mix it whit the gasoline, that make the gasoline split better and give the engine more power and use less gasoline, but to do that I must tell the ECU that it have enough air already,
so I put a potentiometer and a resistor on the cable from ECU to the computer then I can adjust the airflow when I driving to save gasoline. :-) And I am not so sure I can find it in Thailand ether. every thing down hear is quite simple.lol

my god i just read that site, anyone else find flaws in the theory? a yr 11 chem student can tell you how much HHO gas you'll produce from that setup lol

I don't think you understand, I only mix the gasoline whit HHO I don't DRIVE THE CAR on only hydrogen OK. I think you must read a little bit more to know what I meaning
