Thanks Rob saw those pics on fordlaser. Am waiting on a GTR intake
myself if it comes off. The head should not be stamped BP-26 should be
BP-C8 same as the intake isn't it. Croyden Autosports told me years ago
they measured the lobes on the GTR cams and they were identical to
a GTX. You will have to tell how the changes to the gtr stuff affects performance.

Nah, the heads themselves are the same. So they will have the same stamp on them. All the other people I have talked to with the BPD engines haven't said they have had a different head stamp, and they were looking for as many differences as I have been.

Only the intake manifold has BPC8.

Nate, will try and take some pics for you tonight. But the cooler piping is really simple, and fits with no problems. No Hacksaws were harmed in mounting of the cooler! I won't be taking the bar off though, will just get down low for ya.

Sorry guys,
Nate,

I still havent gotten round to taking pics for ya, so I edited you one. The blue circles are where my pipes run. If you look on your pic, you can see the gaps just under the main chasis brace. My pipes are 2.5" on the turbo side and 3" on the intake side. Both fit with no probs.

It is only looks. What's inside the GTR one is specially designed veins that provide perfect air distribution across all 4 intake ports. Also with having these veins it creates less turbulance inside the dynamic chamber thus giving it better overall flow compared to the GTX.

If you do your reseach on a really good aftermaket plenum, they should all have bell mouths raised inside the dynamic chamber where the runners start to go down to the head. The veins inside the GTR plenum work similiar to this.

Rupe, I haven't got a NA one, but i'd be curious to see inside one too.
