dilema

Hey fellas still got my stock 1995 323 astina ba. wondering if i should keep it and do it up or sell it.

got very small budget but wondering if i can get it any faster without turbo, p plates.

otherwise if not worth it i will sell it and save for something else

if you can get the engine in "new condition" haha it will most likely "gain" power... replacing and cleaning the gunk out of it id imagine would help...

btw looked into turbo/insurance if i were to get it in 2 years time (off p plates) and could find ANYONE to insure it... so just be aware of that (and anyone else) wanting a turboed car!)

Formula 1 for $500? (they're not turbo but they're quite quick)

If your budget is modest then you'll probably loose money by selling up and buying a grey import. Parts for these are a sellers market $$$

Standard low budget things include making sure your engine is working to its best. IE serviced, then;
CAI
Exhaust
Headers
Cam gears
Cams
Rear swaybar
Front strut brace
Springs and dampers

It's always cheaper buying a car with more power.
It may cost more initially but it will sell for more when you sell it, where an old car might not.

straights are good for fast cars
corners are for fast drivers
