An axleback frees up a couple of ponies and makes the car sound heaps better without getting too much louder, at a good price. A complete catback would be great, but it's gonna be heaps louder. In any case, either option would go well with a smaller pulley. Do you need a new belt for the smaller pulley? Or can the slack be taken up elsewhere?

x2

The car sounded lethargic on sunday, just an axle-back would sound & let the car breathe a hell of a lot better

easier then the v6 hub conversion, but i dont think its exactly safe for use on a daily, any opinions, would make finding rims easier

hub converters are like big spacers, technically not legal here in Aus, you'd be best off finding the same hubs off an SP20

well, those bolts have a shear capacity of a few tonnes, and look at the size of the studs holding your rims on, hell use the size of the 5 studs compared to those 6 bolts.
not defending it by any means, i think there crap. and i wouldn't touch them. just putting what i know out there, (u should see the size of bolts holding couplings and other drive-line parts of hydraulic motors/machines together.
