Hello everyone

Hi everyone, I think I need to at least create a new thread to introduce myself cause I feel that it is rude to ask question straight away without introducing myself to the forum. Sorry.

So, I'm Jeremiah originally from Malaysia and have been studying in Melbourne Australia for 3 years. I am driving a Mazda 323 Astina BA Hatch 1.8ltr 4cyl. This is my second car. First car is a Nissan Pulsar 1994.

Note: My car is still in the workshop so I can't take its picture. Will upload them as soon as I get it back tomorrow.

1) Bought this car in the beginning of March 2010 for $ 4300.00

2) RWC cost = $ 80.00

3) Fixed:
1st Fix
Front Brake Pads = $ 59.90
Labor Cost = $ 50.00
Rear Brake Pads = $ 72.00
Labor Cost = $ 60.00
Engine Timing Belt = $ 66.57
Engine Cam Shaft Seal = $ 29.60
Engine Front Crank Shaft seal = $ 13.55
Engine Valve C/Gasket Kit = $ 75.00
Alternator & Air Condition Belt = $ 33.45
Power Steering Belt = $ 25.85
Labor Cost = $ 220.00
Wiper Blades Inserts Replaced = $ 20.00
Wiper Blades Inserts Replaced (Rear) = $ 10.00
Replace Lic.Plate Light Bulb = $ 5.00
Aiming Head Lights & Adjusted = $ 20.00
Total Cost = 760.92

2nd Fix
Replaced Front Engine Mount = $ 145.00
Set New Spark Plug Leads (NGK) = $ 119.00
Can Of A/C Freshener (New Car Smells) = $ 50.00
doesn't help my bad a/c smell
Total Cost = $ 314.00

Total Used on the car = 5454.92


My car: 1995 Mazda Astina BA Hatch Auto 1.8 4cyl
- Major service every 5 months
- Minor service every 2 months
- Car wash once every month

Priority:
- Fuel consumption
- CV Joint
- Brakes squealing noise
- Indicator and high beam sensitivity
- A/C smells - drain
- Oil leaks
- Major Service
- Engine Wash

Things to do:
- rims
- Blue interior lights
- aluminium floor mats
- Sun shades
- HID headlights (low beam)

Things to do last:
- Window Tinting
- Momo Steerling
- Momo sill guard carbon
- Momo pedals
- Paint Caliper
- lug nuts

Things to do in future (mayb 2 years later)
- Fix rust if have
- Full panel beating
- Respray to black metallic
- Change all seats to leather
- Change to manual trans (KLZE 2.5 engine v6)
- Turbo

Lastly
- Exterior Mod - Body Kit

Just had a Minor service
Labor cost = $ 45.00
Change Oil Filter (COOPER) = $ 11.00
Change Engine Oil (15W.40 MOBIL) = $ 32.50
Sum Plug Washer = $ 3.00

Total Cost = $90.00 after discount

Just uploaded four pics. Can view them in the link below. It is all standard but starting from next month will start modifying some interior bits... So excited.

imho the BEST quickest and cheap mod is to paint that rear garnish (the bit between the tail lights) white. makes it look ALOT more fashionable/newer

looks like a good starting point, just ask when you need some help!

Paint? I thought they change the whole thing to white? Will the paint comes off after sometime? Did 70NYD paint it too?

Gave my baby a good car wash... The body is clean but still there are some places where I can't reach are dirty...

Uploaded a few more boring pics without any mods, Just to let you guys see how the interior looks like...
