Hey from Adelaide
The name's Ray from Adelaide, I'm 17 years old, sad I know anyway, I own a BG SP Astina, It took me about 5 months to save for the car and when I got it it was thrashed. I restored the body and drove it around for a while till the block, head, timing belt, head and water pump went at the same time. So now I'm looking for an engine. I'm not really new, just wasn't active.
Edit: Possibly a BPT Last edited by BGSP; 11-04-2010 at 05:00 PM. |

It might be cheaper just to buy another Astina, swap the engine, and use any of the other parts, seeing as you described it as 'thrashed'.

It's thrashed in the sense that the previous owner was a hoon and didn't treat it well, the body I fixed all it needs is an engine.

I've ordered a BP from my import place that comes in about a week from Japan, while I was at it I got the JDM rear garnish, I want to finish it before the end of the holidays if not I'll have to make it drag for a few more weeks

Welcome mate...
Nice to see another SA member... we are few and far between. Best of luck with it. Post pics at some point.

Thanks for the welcome, will do and I agree, there are so many Honda and Toyota people around and yet our Mazda group here is quite small
