Acrylic clear coat

I've resprayed the boot after debadging it. I've repainted with about 3 layers of clear coat but it just isn't quite glossy enough. I know it's hard to get as nicer finish with acrylic but is there a product that I can use to bring out the gloss?
Thanks

I'm wondering the same thing. I resprayed my front bumper, and sprayed about 5 layers of clear on it (3M Acrylic Lacquer). The paint matches the car perfectly, however now I have a glossy car with a satin finished front bumper... Looks a bit odd.

Light sand of clear coat with very fine grade paper, and a lot of elbow grease if u want a mirror finish.
basically good buff with a cutting compound then work your way down grades of compound till you are at a polish, be sure not buff it too much, otherwise you will end up at the colour. Its a bit of an art to get the pressure and buffing time right with the grade compound and paint condition.
Then give it a good wax.
Should keep it shiny for a while. Shine will fade away eventually tho, time just depends on why kind of weather conditions the paint is in.
Will try to find an article with a lot more detail.

I would write one.... But don't have the time to sit down ATM

The last acrylic respray I did (other than my old BG which was a dodgy job ) was about 6years ago, Mabey 8. Lol
Paint is still mirror (always garaged and under cover tho

The rubbing compound worked a treat! Million times better after a hand buff, no wax yet. I used Farecla G3 paste compound if anyone else is looking for a compound thats good. $16.00 for 250g tube.
