Problems getting 11N Noble Green mixed
OK so I had some paint mixed at my local SCA shop for my daughter's 1997 BA Astina..asked for 11N (as per the compliance plate stamp) and after I've applied it and the clear coat I must say the match is...well...not matching
The old paint has a green tinge whilst the new one is very blue in appearance. Approached the shop and showed them the photos to which they say "see the sign which states no refunds for mixed paint as paint fades over time". This I can appreciate however to me 'fade' means 'gets lighter' not 'changes colour'. The fact that 11N is described as Noble Green would suggest a green hue and not blue. Only option I have is to get another pot mixed up elsewhere and compare the two (I still have some left of the SCA one). Anyone else had problem with SCA or Noble Green (I've just read a forum post that says 11N was also 'Indigo Blue' on one model). cheers.. |
