A bulk pack of Dynamat Extreme only weighs a little over 7Kg's. I used 2 sheets per front door and 4 and a bit sheets for the boot. So I ended up with a little under 1 sheet left over. Of course I still need to do the floor and rear doors, and paint the wheel well's with deadener...

For Dynamat Extreme you're looking at around $300 for a bulk pack. You can knock a bit off buying on eBay, but I preferred to support a good installer and got mine through FHRX Studio's.

A 1 lt tin of deadener is around $20 from memory. From what I have researched it doesn't compare to the sheets at all. But it can be used in places like your wheel well's. It can make a big mess and I know that if you wanted to use it inside the car a lot of caution would be needed...
