Brake specs?

Does anyone know the specs of BA 1.8 astina brakes?

as i'm looking to upgrade and i can get a set of these for a respectable price...

but i need to know caliper widths/disc widths/clearances etc...

these will be used in conjunction with a set of 325mm discs (probably from DBA)

Technical Specification for the Billet 4

Disc Thickness 12mm; 22mm;24mm, 28mm; 30mm
Piston Size 4 x 41.2mm
Piston Material: Hard Anodised Aluminium
Pad Size 100 x 50 x 16mm
Weight 1700g
Hydraulic Threads M10 x 1.0
Radial Mounting 152.4mm

For the 285mm disc kit, internal wheel diameter must be at least 285mm + 50mm (just over 13 inches)
The disc to spokes clearance must be at least 60mm

dave? got specs in the manuals?

Dan,
I dont think they will fit. If you take a ruler from the edge of
the rotor to the inside of the mag I dont believe it will be 50mm
as needed by the 4 piston. What makes it worse is that that is based
off a 28mm thick rotor, change that to a 40mm thick rotor and that
makes the clearence required even more. I tried fitting some mitsubishi
GTO rotors and 4pistons callipers and couldn't get my wheel to clear the
calliper.

Best of luck

Mal

yeah i measured my clearance today too. i had 70mm from disc to spoke running parralel to the outer edge of my stock disc. the clearance however would go to the **** after that as my spokes curve in heaps as they get nearer to the tyre

cheers mike
