1 - didn't like at 1st but tuff straight line of the spokes match the BG 2 - bronze looks ok in pic, but would really need to see it in real life as am still uncertain about bronze/grey combos. 3 - too much curves in the spokes, doesn't match BGs lines. 4 - tuff looking also, same reasons as no.1. 5 - thought of hyper black rims w/ machine/polished lip? The greyish of the hyper black matches the grey of the BG. Just for fun! Ryan Last edited by project.r.racing; 10-05-2008 at 05:23 PM. |

Im not really looking for an uber exotic racing rim, but it would be nice to say i have em..Bahahahaha.
Some of the design of the less expensive rims are far better. Im really just looking for a rims that will really suit the new hue and that fills up the guards a bit more, its been suggested that i stick with either 15" or 16" because it would suit the size of the car more? Something a bit more racery then street would be good, like i said before tiny bit of dish with simple design. I have also thought about getting a set of MS rims from Dan but i havent found any design that i like. There are alot of replica's ut there so what i was doin is just looking at one mainstream brand and finding what i liked and going from there....it will all come down to cost, looks and sizes...

wheel no.1 has those qualities you just described. i like them. didn't at 1st but think they match the BG after my dodgy photochop jobs.
you seem to have same taste in style and wants from a wheel. below are 2 others from a cheapo brand that you may like:- dish, racer look, cheaper brand, comes in 17x7 and 18x7.5. ryan |

Well i have been thinking about gunmetal but i think that it would blend in just a little too much!
I mean i want them to :blend in" somewhat but i still want them to be a bit of a breakup, thats why i thought Matte or Gloos Black would be ideal?

ok me and zappz went and tried out my other rims i had lyin around on his car...
first of all his car as is... then my 18s then my 14s (supalights) he likes how the 18s fill the guards but doesnt want 18s so he gonna be goin for 17s...theyll still fill the guards and also take it off the ground that little bit more...i didnt mind the look of the 14s on his...with a differnt colour paint it would look hot!!!

As Sir Bourbs said i like the way the 18's fit into the gigantic guards really well, they also slightly raise the car off the ground a bit (I seem to scrap a bit these days).
The 14's were a bit of a waste to me, they didnt fill the guards at all and the car went from low to oh my god there goes my exhaust!!, they did however make the brakes look normal, unlike the 18's of course. ATM im thinking a Gloss or Matte Black with a Polished lip with 17"-7" or 17"-7.5" size would be good. I start Tafe 2morrow and its nice and close to Ozzy Tyres so ill have a look will im up that way. Peace Out, John

they are the same copies as volks as what bourbs has... were did he get his? everywhere sells BSA rims.
i like the black look from when you put on the mini-lights of bourb's. but in a bigger size like 16 or 17 would be the go me thinks. ryan |

Good thing about them is that they will be pretty cheap
