Hey rupe...

Depending on your audience, is what, i think, determines if links should stay blue

If they're old fogies, then yes blue... But any younger generation... It doesn't matter, they know what things are...

When i worked for racenet, we were always told to have a call - to - action... so in other words "For more information - Click Here"

Again, old people.

I like it as it is simple and elegant plus the orange loks good. Just out of curiosity tho the banner looks like a very low res on my comp with jaggies everywhere?

Much better. The yellow bar is a bit jagged as mentioned above, and i'd probably move the logo text down into it and/or just make it bigger. You want to make sure people know where they are visiting

Its not actually the yellow bar is the brush pattern for some reason.

maybe my lcd monitor but the white links blend into the yellow bars. would makesthem difficult to read for older users.

for the title bar, i think rup meant combine the yellow/orange one with the 'ridgewood powder coating one'. i agree, it looks a little strange to have 2 banners

EDIT: maybe redo the yellow/orange to remove the jaggies, or shrink it to the proper size in photoshop/paintshop and then save it. browsers do a shoddy job of resizing cleanly
