I've played round a bit with Amp & it sounds OK. I can live with it. Besides, the Amp, spare in boot. Not much room for much else as is Think I'll leave the Sub out. I think if I did go sub though, a rack would be in need. Thanks for helping out with suggestions.

spotted an MX5 exactly like yours MIXY without the chromies this afternoon, it had the the chrome rack...

and the verdict, it looked like an old schooler MG, and IMO look tacky...

thanks Marcs.....would look old school I passed an MX5 today pretty same same too. It had smaller alloys with black in them. Didn't do much for me esp' since the wheel inner came out from the rim edge

Had a neater roof though hehe

I saw an Audi TT with a rack on the boot yesterday. It looked pretty silly.

in my opinion, with a car that sixe, you should be able to get enough bass running 6" splits n 6x9s ff an amp, if you tune it properly should come up really nicely. especially coz im against the boot rack :S

maztech, I don't have head rests just a low parcel shelf.

You guys have convinced me, no rack. I have tuned the Deck ijn well & am happy now. Thanks for replies.

Yah no rack. Also on the MX5 I think the hard tops for them look hot. Saw a carbon fibre top, bonnet and boot on a white one a few years ago with a wide body kit on it and it looked hot.

The JDM MX-5s had speakers in the headrests...but that's not going to help bass issues.

that is really freiky Dan Sorry, clouldn't do that. I have 6x9's on the parcel shelf behind the one piece head-rests & yeah, bass is kinda important with rears
