Replaced the blue reducers on my intake with nice black ones didn't realise how expensive those damn things are... lol
Also got rid of the rattle in my head unit FINALLY
The exhaust tip got done the other day too, looks great

I do some work on my engine, if it's filthy then it gets on me.
Even if you don't work on your own engine it's a sign of respect for those who do.

yeah no one wants to work on a engine coated in oil, plus when you pop the hood of a MAZDA to find a bright red strut brace and a fat chrome intake pipe in a clean intake bay people are pretty surprised :P
Almost as surprised as P Plate commodore drivers when they can't keep up in their 'fully sick' VNs

I washed the car this morning before heading to a funeral, and straight after it, it poured

I'll be tomorrow giving the inside a thorough vacuum/wipe down, degreasing the engine bay & hopefully have time to clay bar the car in the arvo

haha every time I look under my hood it tempts me... You can see it quite easily without the stock airbox. Too much of a PITA to get to though

I just used a wire brush drill attachment.

But they i broke the that gearbox and i cbf doing it again after that!

about once a month ill use a can of degreaser on the engine then finish it off with some silicon spray. (will be painting my rocket cover again some time soon)

changed the oil and oil filter.

tryed the new valvoline 15w 40, iv heard good things about it.

Trying out Duragloss 271 for rubber bumper & trim to try and restore some dull spots

*to edit* it hasn't really worked, i think the pillars are too faded to repair hmm

put fuel in it for $1.11/L

was pretty happy with that.
and have been runnning experiements to try and curb my drinking problem... sorry, my cars FUEL drinking problem.

got it down to 9.4L/100km this week.
how's that for the BA i couldn't find any reference to it?
