BA Hardtop

Does anyone know if a BA hatch front lip would fit on a BA hardtop?
I have been looking for some bodykits for my hardtop but it just too hard to find them. I found a full kit in Jetspeed, but I don't like the front bar at all. I rather a lip goes on there indeed.
Or does anyone know where in QLD would be able to find some body kits in a decent price for a hardtop?

but no, the Hatch and Hardtop lips aren't interchangeable.

it's quite hard to get a lip to fit the hardtop because of the way the sides curve around so high

but if you buy something in plastic, it's a lot more malleable to being put on because it bends (unlike fibreglass), and can be heated to change it's shape too.

plastic is hard to work with beyond heating it up though and fibreglass doesnt stick to it

I'm getting Team Jetspeed (Moss St, Slacks Creek, QLD) to make me a custom rear bar its gonna cost me about $700, i also ask DMD Motorsports (Rocklea) they told me just over $1000 for the same bar. I just gotta finish my design for the front bar before i ask them to see if they could make it for me.

yea... i went to jetspeed for a quote, they told me i would be looking for just a little lower than $2000 for a full kit (same one as the one on hot 4's) of which i don't really enjoy the look of that front bar. honestly speaking, i like the look of the stock front bar on how it sets out and everything but just wanted to bring it down to the ground a little more. Anyone have any idea of what i should be doing with the front bar with a lower cost?
Hey Tublade, I have seen your car a few times at market square. maybe you have seen mine a few times too. I like the graphics on your car, it looks really cool.

Yeah jetspeed quoted me for the veilside f/b - $810, s/s - $600, and wing $780, painted and fitted. I've seen a white hardtop around that area a few times, i used to work up at Sunnybank Plaza for a few years until about 6mths ago. If you end up seeing my car again it would have different plates on it now, they are FAT-323 silver on black. Do you reckon if we both went to jetspeed and asked for custom jobs they might give i abit of a discount?

my hardtop isn't white, mine is a deep red one.
i am afraid they wouldn't do discounts really. besides, i really don't like the front bar of jetspeeds. what's your design of the rear bar looks like?

It will be too wide but take a look at a Holden VR SS front lip. The bars are very similar in shape.
