I happened to stumble on this site whilst looking for a new front bar for my car, '94 Astina 1.8 Man in Noble Green (is there any other colour?)

Had a read through some of the forums and thought I would join up and hopefully learn a few things about the car and have a few laughs with u peeps, get some advice and what not.

I actually have a question or two already but ill post those in their relative spots.

I need to do some work on the car b4 I take it out with your cars. I cringe everytime I look at the front of my car.

I posted a topic with a link to some bars I like in the BodyKit forum but im just lookin for somthin different then the std bar that dosnt make the car look stupid. I like the kit toyboy has on his car, it looks very similar to the one ssv supply, but as far as ive gathered, this isnt uncommon in the fibreglass world.

Any suggestions?[/color

know I bingled the front of mine and my bonnets bent so
cant be much worse than that ?? Or do you mean yours
is the same. Catch up anyway mate we can leave the
cars at home and go to the tradies and get pissed and

Double Bourbons all round, but i have to warn you, im not to knowledgeable about cars, just like to drive em

Ill post a pic of the car when i get my dig camera bak from my old man, but its not tooo bad. The front right panel above the wheel guard is dented rather good and the bumper is scratched to buggery where the chick decided to drive forwards instead of the same direction she backed onto the car.

But hey its noble green so it dont matter right....[/color

BTW everybody else, JJ has his SP Astina lowered about and inch and a half since the Canberra Cruise and looks a whole lot better.

dont worry bout the current stock-ness of ur car, mines pretty much stock at the moment 2!! (unfortunatly)
anyway friend, me u and our boy mal will have us a lil mini shire cruz.
and hey mal, i saw one of the white 1st gen astinas at jannali, and stopped 2 look at it and noticed that the vents on the bonnet looks like evo vents.
and i jynx i was lookin at front bars 2 andnot sure if anyone said anythin about it, but carmate have some ok ones- but nothin special. i emailed them about one for my style astina, and they quoted $450 fitted.

ost_uid0]Was that the white or yellow kit on their site. $450 fitted aint bad. Im assuming this is without spraying as well.

My delima is this though. I have to have the car panel beaten first so the kit will bolt on properly (currently my right headlight is lower then the left which makes life intereasting in the dark) but is it legal to drive the car without a front bar? It would only be in transit between the panel beater and carmates workshop which is in Lansdale. Quite a hike from the shire.

Guess it might be a tow...[/color
