What I prefer about these ones than the Ozeparts ones is the reflector in them
correct me if I am wrong but they have them yes def looks so in this pic. I thought about the reflector add ons like the VX etc and they just look ugly.

Nobody from the UK group had bought these yet so I had Richard do some
photoshop work with a black centre panel which I want & here's the result.

Would a group buy need ten of a single type? or do you think we could get a mixed batch? I think the chrome might look better on the white astina, black on the darker coloured ones.

hmm im guessing that the altezzas that ozeparts are making are being made locally and not imported from europe. if thats the case does anyone have any ideas as to what they look like. if they look anything like the VT commodore ones they make then i reckon im out. guess we just have to wait and see! odds would say they are a diffrent design. if we can only get them for $250 locally when they sell for that much in euros over there i.e. $400 AUD

The euro one's are made in taiwan. Sonar brand just like all the other one's on the market, just never had enough market intrest until one for the BA's, BG's ones should follow very soon also.

Mike, OZEParts.com.au replied to my email.. the items available through their online store are not made locally.. they are imported.
Cheers Adam

sif they'd be made locally when you can make them for a third of the cost overseas. even the AU falcon etc ones are made overseas

So if the lights the guys are selling in the Netherlands are Sonar Lights from Taiwan
I would prefer to cut out the middleman and not pay for items that have been posted basically once round the world. Anybody know how to find out if we can source these direct ???

i tried that before, you will have to go though the australian importer/supplier (and i have no idea how that is, someone know?) to get them as the they have paid the rights to sell them in OZ.
it goes manufacturor -> importer/supplier -> retailer... example so find out how the importer is then talk to them, but they will not sell one at a time, retailers have to buy normally 5 or 10 units at a time, so i'd get a group buy happening if you go down this avenue. |
