Finally cleaned all the double sided tape/residue off my car from the botched rain guard install. Took a combination of eucalyptus oil, rags, a plastic cake spatula thingy and a lot of effort.

Next to do is a hydraulic system flush. I run RBF600, which absorbs water faster and goes off quicker than normal dot 3.1 stuff. It's been in there for about 1.5 years/50000km and I'm starting to notice squishy pedal feel and really crap performance when everything is cold.

OMG it really wasn't worth the effort and cost it took to remount my gauges. Spent nearly $30 on screws/nuts/bolts and took about 4 hours. In the end I could only mount the boost gauge with a custom length nut/bolt and a self-tapping screw. AFR gauge has 2 nut/bolts in it and is rock solid and the boost gauge is good enough, not flapping around at least. Plus I scratched the face of my gauge cluster twice as I couldn't get the bastard out. Not real happy.

A mate of mine came over and gave my Panda a cut n polish while I cleared room for it in my garage.

I also managed to finally paint my sons shell for his electric truck...

both look great! the blitz is lots of fun but for me, doesnt have the strength i require my models to have to withstand my overpowered out-of-controlledness driving styles.

Yeah he's only 7 and doesn't really crash it, I run an SC10 with a brushless EZ-run setup.

Tried fitting a Mazdaspeed seat to the missus' BJ Protege...and yeah, that's not gonna happen. I used the BA seat brackets, and the fronts are the correct design, but about 2cm too narrow. The backs are way out - the BJ uses mounts more like the 4WD BGs (i think) in that one mounts to the side of the trans tunnel.

That and the BJ seats have a much higher base, so realistically new mounts all round would be needed. Apart from the trans tunnel mount that'd be all pretty easy to fab up.
