[color=#000000ost_uid0]When looking at new wheels, what is the recommended offset??

What's the normal offest for the 94-98 Astina?

[color=#000000ost_uid0]i [iost_uid0]think[/iost_uid0] its 38. But im not 100% sure on that.

i [iost_uid0]think[/iost_uid0] my new wheels are 50 though. And I needed to put in 5mm spacers coz they were grinding against the suspension strut.[/colorost_uid0]

[color=#000000ost_uid0]the BA 1.8's standard offset is +37 - a positive offset of 37mm

but from memory the BA V6 is different...i think it's +50 standard

so you were close, davey [/colorost_uid0]

[color=#000000ost_uid0]So, say for a 17x7" wheel i'd also have to have an offset of +38??

[color=#000000ost_uid0]Yeah but the extra cost for rubber is a factor for me too. I'm not going to put those crappy Falken's on my car, only good stuff. I love the Dunlop FM901's I have currently on my 15" mags.

I wanted to go something like this:
[imgost_uid0]http://www.tyres.com/upload_images/HR%20Racing/hr_109.JPG[/imgost_uid0]
in 17x7 inch

OR maybe even something like this:
[imgost_uid0]http://www.donnellans.com.au/wheelsfolder/schneider/radikal.jpg[/imgost_uid0]

I've also seen a set of wheels from a company called AMG [not the mercedes company] but do you think I can find a bloody website that has the wheel let alone the bloody brand!! NO! Aarrrgghhh. There's a Magna with them on it at the local mitsu place, i'll grab the camera and take a photo of them and post it up.
