hey guys,
im getting really distressed at tho mo.
Got my switch from scott (cheers), my relay from Jarrod (cheers), and my lights from dan (cheers!)
but I cant see how the switch (not the relay) PLUGS into the dash? I've popped out one of the 'spacer' black plastic bits...all of them, from left to right (i have 1 used for dimming the dash lights, and one used for my immobiliser)...but i can't see where this f-fog switch is gunna "plug" in...there's just empty black space at the backs of all the free ones ;(

hheeeellllppp please!!

Also, the foglights i got from dan were female connecters, and the wiring at the front bar of my car contains female connecters also .. dan's cutting off the male ones on his wrecking V6 for me, but can anyone explain how that happened?

Cheers guys!

the plug for the switich should be behind the cover closest to the steering wheel on the right side. mine was clicked into the blank spacer button that they put there to fill the gap. if it isnt then perhaps someones pushed it up into the wires under the dash
have a look around for it
as for the plugs being different it might be the a different series astina wen they changed various things

It's a white plug if that helps you search for it
+1 for being pushed up into the dash somewhere

ah okay,
thats the port where my immobiliser light is currently...so good chance of being up in the dash somewhere...
i'll have a look! Thanks guys!

found it! It had been wound up tight and hidden...probably from when they installed the immobiliser light...
Relay and switch work - make a nice green light on ma dash

Thanks peeps.
Also, has it been discussed - what size HID xenon bulbs are required to fit foglights? is it h4?

different series had different foglights available. so different plugs.

if you have the stock foglights, then it's H3.

ooooook so i picked up some factory V6 fog lights last week. Trying to work out how they fit to the bar. I have a standard series 3 bar and it looks like I need to remove the radiator support brackets in order to get the light bracket to fit where the power sits to fit up into the cavity there.

Can someone give me some guidance on this?

Hi Rod,
Looking at the brackets I reckon ive got Protege S1 or 2 lights as they dont look the same as the BA ones.

Im sure we could make them fit but would just need some choppings!
