Group Buy - Mazdaspeed Oil Cap

Interested in one? click on page 3

Hi all,
Been wanting the jazz up the astina a little & been interested in a oil cap
for ages but the $150 for a blitz or Greddy cap has put me off. Jimbo
got one of these and it looks good and the price is def in the right area.
Only downside is the postage so I wanted to know if anybody was
interested in a group buy to try and cut postal costs down. The cap
itself is only $10US. Postage for 1 is up to $22US. They can also be
bought local for $55AUS.

Let me know your thoughts.

Ta

I'll have one thanks Mal.. Is the finished product silver like the image that you posted, or more like the polished/chrome article that Jim posted?

We're getting some numbers now, did you want to update your initial post with the ppl interested with a list?

Regards
Adam

Adam,
Its not polished chrome its silver but is quite shiny. These items are on ebay.com
I dont think they are genuine but for a price of around $30US I cant find a
comparable product. If Dan can find some cheap backdoor products I would
be in, would love a 2nd hand hks anything
I just was really after a show of hands before I emailed some of the people on
ebay to see how much for a combined postage price.

Mal..

No worries.. I've been looking for a new cap too but haven't been overly keen on the ones that i've seen.. I like this one though.. simple yet effective. I'm going to have to get my cover cleaned up now!

Totally Adam
I have polished my rocker and it looks great. It is definitely something that changes
the look of the whole engine bay. I will be selling mine soon as I want to do something
different but its a BG rocker not a BA so doesn't help you. Put Jimbo's cap on for
a trial fit and it goes real well with the polished cover.

Regards

I'm interested, pencil me in.
I've been thinking about some changes and the polished alloy 710 cap would play well against the strut brace and the potential mods.

Any pics to show the punters Adam?

After buying a Mazda cap (change from $10) it was from a BG and fits the Cosmo 13B, Rx-7 12A and BA. Gotta love the parts bin

You would think I had cleaned it the day before  , it looks nice in the flesh but that photo makes it look even better. Good pic Adam.

You can just see the strut brace in the top left, the cap would match it nicely. The replacement leads (when I get around to it) may need to be black, I don't think anything else would suit.
