Replaced BA swaybar bushes.
Gday, Just thought I'd mention that replacing the bushes on the front swaybar of my BA was a complete mongrel of a job that required 2 people, 6hrs of time, crowbar, balljoint splitters, 9" grinder and a great deal of patience.
Honestly, what were the engineers thinking when they came up with that bright idea of placing the d-shackles there??? At least it gave me an excuse to purchase a new hydraulic jack and engine crane I suppose I can honestly say that I will never replace one ever again.... unless the engine is out. Oh and yes it made an improve in handling after I put nolathane bushes in |

What, no step by step guide? LOL
I've had the bushes for a while...and they're still sitting on the shelf

That's pretty common knowledge that they are a pain in the arse to replace. I did mine last year when I did an engine swap. Easy then.
Did you keep a tally of how many times you said "F@#k?" |

Nah no step-by-step guide, I don't want to encourage people to do it lol
Here's a tip though, If you can't wait til an engine swap, take it to a mechanic. It would have been less stressful if the steering rack was easier to remove with the engine in. |
