i'd go the back way through dayboro > mt mee > woodford and then follow it up the old highway to maleny. its a long drive and you'll burn through a whole tank but its worth it.

They mostly fit a BA, but the lower pipe of the rear bank needs to be modded as there is less room in a BA

I would go the exedy heavy duty but if you are planning to get more power (meaning turbo or extreme hp) upgrade to a button clutch.

I'd go the HD anyway - there's not that much of a difference

hmm, i see an standard oem replacement and a button clutch (as well as race clutch) but no heavy duty on the exedy website (remember 1994). and with the way i drive (not hard, but heavy on the clutch, with way more gear shifts then needed) a hevy duty clutch is a better option (although i wont have the car for much more then 6 months)

I warn against using the button clutch for everyday driving with only exception turbocharged. Even then. It is hard on the box. I love the way it handled in the BFGT but it still shook shat outta running gear on take off. You have to be really conscious every launch from lights. Even with turbo applications. Still alot don't like them.

The only reason that warrants it's use is to prevent slipping under extreme load. Can't see this happening on a non-boosted engine driven well. You can still power on with a good HD exedy man!

Just an honest warning.

For a stock-ish daily i'd stay away from a button, especially if you do a lot of peak hour driving. They're not that bad, but they are a pain in that sort of driving

gear shifts won't necessarily wear the clutch prematurely. It's how you use it. Wifey's PT for example. You always have to load clutch up. It's a heavy car for a small engine. Do alot of traffic driving too (clutch in/out in/out). So you have to pedal it slower & smoother than you would a 323. I know a HD will be better & would put one in if I had to change original but if you only have car for 6 months. Why would you bother Alot of work for fark all!

cause i have to sell it at when i go away (in 6 months) and a car with fixed clutch is more likely to sell at a decent price then one without, and there is no way im going button clutch. hd clutches are a pain enough
