Hi,
Have you upgraded your suspension and still have shocks left over? I'm looking for a rear left shock absorber for my sp20 as I bent mine hitting a curb. Need one urgently - if anyone knows a wrecker in VIC that wrecks sp20's that would help also. My tyre is running thin!!! (after fixing lower control arm and lateral links, still can't get wheel alignment, so shocker is the next step) I know this is technically a WTB thread, but it would probably get better exposure here. |

Just fit a new one? KYBs are the OEM shock and aren't that much, especially if you do the work yourself.

I'd do both rears so as to not affect the handling. Depends how old your car is.

Generally, if one shock / strut is gone then the rest are probably not far behind
![]() Besides buying a set is cheaper than buying them individually

I do have some AutoExe suspension coming in the next container (due in 1-2 weeks) for BJ Hatch if that's of interest. AutoExe springs, and AutoExe front shocks with OEM rear shocks.
Shoot me a PM if interested!

Quick question that could solve all this! Are the struts in the sp20 hatch the same as the ones in the 1.8L hatch?
