Group Buy: Mazdaspeed Radiator Caps

Ok, due to incessant nagging, i've investigated a group buy of Mazdaspeed Radiator Caps (copies, not the genuine things, obviously)

update:

these raise the pressure to 1.3Bar

these things:

they look like being about $30 possibly including postage - final price yet to be determined

Add yourself to the list on page 3!

A little high for me and I don't believe they would be ADR compliant. Not that it would worry me too much

Hmm a bit to expensive for a radiator cap.. I would go geniune because it actually lifts the pressure in the water system, now if thats a good thing or not I dont know.

apparently the 'Black Label' copiues lift it to the same pressure as the 'Pink/Green Label' ones

"they increase the pressure inside the radiator, thus raising the coolant boiling point and increasing cooling efficiency" so the site says

The ones I saw originally were the ones Mal has listed.

I am not willing to spend $60 UNLESS it is genuine.....

I figure a copy to be worth half that.....

Heck, I would even have pink, LOL!!!

Ok, ahve got a response from the guy in Australia selling them

and i can get the 'Black Label' fakes for $32 pickup, or $35 delivered (for a minimum of 10ish)

as opposed to $45 from him otherwise if you buy individually

verdict?

oh, and get your asses into gear and you might get them for the dyno day
