Just a few V6 related Q's

Hey guys...
I was wondering what other people owning a V6 feel about their stock astinas ride... mine seems alittle harsh, i can feel alot of bumps on the road, could my shocks be worn, or is the V6 just a firmer ride than most cars?
I recnetly had my engine replaced as i killed my last one. I can notice heaps more power now, but when i reach around 3000 rpm the engine has a big kick in it and it jsut takes off like a wild beast, i kinda like it, but i'm not sure if this is normal.

Thanx for any help guys...

the kick is normal. i dont have a technical description of what it is, but from what i understand a valve opens up and lets more air ( i think its air ) in.

might be something to do with the air swirling or something :? i loved it tho

*drools over sunroof* i want one

i cant really remember the ride as i had it lowered on 18s for such a long time

Gidday,

I have a 93 Lantis V6. I had the shocks replaced a few months ago with Koni Sport Adjustables. These were well worth it as it rode like a dog before, now is like new.

Well worth the money. Get the Whiteline sway as this is a cheapy and adds to the fun!

That kick you feel is the VRIS - variable length intake runners basically, that change their flow direction (and therefore torque attributes) according to rpm
