1/24 Scale Models of BA Astina Hatch & Hardtop

Hey fellas..

Discovered this tonight.. 1/24 "Tanomi" Scale models of both BA Astina shapes..

Astina Hatch

Astina Hardtop

I used the XE Universal Currency Converter to convert the 16,800YEN required to buy these little delights.. but at a supposed $213AUS I might be waiting for the exchange rate to pick up a little before I buy.. There looks to be a limited run of 200 per model.

Going from pictures on other websites they are fully buildable.. by this I mean that all components are able to be painted seperately. If only they were a little cheaper you'd be able to make it "fully sick" with awesome paint job

Just thought I'd throw this up seeing as we've only been able to source the Super Deformed versions of them for the moment.. I might consider getting 1 of each model in the new year..

If anyone would like one, please express your interest here..

Opps.. forgot to mention that they're similar to the super deformed resin toys in that you have to paint them yourself

I also just emailled them about the "availability" of these models.. awaiting reply.

Well.. I'm still awaiting reply.. I have a sneaking suspicion that they have closed down already for the christmas break.. or they can't read english.

If i don't hear anything soon i'll send another email..

Actually ... If anyone on these forums can read Japanese and translate it for us that would be greatly appreciated..

I've put a business associate in Japan on the case - it's what he does (online sales of Japanese models)....
