Not really, but i'd guess somewhere in the 6-7 sec mark based on what other cars do for a similar 1/4 mile.

And the MX5 wheels are just temporary until i go 5 stud soon - and they will be going on the Hatch then.

You were well informed that they would need replacing!

True, but you said you were surprised at how bald they were when you took them off

LOL I was gonna get one of those this weekend too.

Yeah anyway I installed a whole bunch of lights the past 2 nights
- 6000K HID kit
- New bright white parkers
- Clear black tail lights (needed a lot of sawing and sanding LOL)
- A couple of interior lights

Not sure if my wiring and installing is any good so I better get a fire extinguisher just in case

Oh yeah, also only just recently got my car back from shop
- Debadged the front and resprayed the front bumper
- Sprayed the back beaver panel black to suit the new lights

I discovered that a dash in a BA that's never been pulled out is a lot harder to remove than the one in my Hardtop, and that there's plug-clips in places i didn't know they belonged, and that this is probably part of the reason why my dash rattles sometimes.

And i retuned my stereo. Stupid unplugging of battery.

so im guessing the rebuild job was good and good to hear the turned up...forgot to message ya to see...

Installed now.

just got to spray the mount to make it not look so ghetto. Have a lovely can of satin black waiting for dry weather.

also need to properly mount the extinguisher bracket, at the moment it's only finger tightened since i'm going to need to remove it anyway for painting.

Now that my kids are older, we don't have to carry round a ton of stuff for them any more, I convinced the wife to let me buy a sub for the car.
I bought a Fusion Encounter 12" 4ohm dual voice coil sub for $54 from WOW.
My mate gave me an old mono block amp he had sitting around his house and we built a sealed box for it and installed them last night. Sounds really good and doesn't take up much space at all. It sits under the rear strut brace, and faces towards the rear of the car.
I'm currently bidding on a chrome grill on ebay to put over the sub to stop random items poking holes in the cone!!

pics!

Also why not do what dan did in the hardtop and get some kitchen handles & place them on the outside of the sub? would stop most things big...
