From what I can tell, stock size is 16mm, and the new swaybar is 21mm! So a huge difference from stock, it now lifts a tyre up while going up driveways One thing I was worried about was the clunking issue known with other brands that are larger (22mm), but so far so good. One thing that also surprised me was that AutoExe were thoughtful enough to weld in a peice of steel next to the where its clamped/mounted to the car, considering the stock one is a peice of rubber clamped!!

i havent driven the car in the wet yet (as its been fine all weekend so far, something we dont get much of up here ), but would assume yes it'd be sharper to corner so increase in oversteer is to be expected, just means I dont have to use the handbrake when I enter a touge battle

now you can keep up in touge battle.

in all seriousness though, i doubt you'll have oversteer issues in normal street driving situations.

Installed the RCA and remote wires for my amp today, got an in-line switch for the remote which will hopefully work to give me control over the sub . Somehow managed to cut, burn and bruise myself during the process....
Also got my weighted D1 spec gear knob today, best $30 i've spent on the car so far :P

Put in floormats, steering wheel cover and car seat cover... all the essentials.

Booked it in to get the aircon serviced/resgassed will be done thursday.

Sounds like I have blown at least one of the rear speakers.

finaly got time to fix my LEDs they were out and in, under 3 hours
also i noticed why i couldnt adjust my highbeams.. the mechanism works fine (dunno how it wouldnt its all metal on metal in metal) but if you take the headlight out, and look through the hole left in the housing where the highbeam bulb cover goes, looking from the bottom away from the lowbeam you will see a little bolt with a round head (like a swivel pin) that is sitting in the housing. the reflector is supposed to be anchored on this.. myn wasnt for whatever reason. after pushing it back on i have full adjustment back i did it from the front cus my lense was off but if you take the actual bulb seat out by removing the 2 screws you can do it from the outside as well by puking a finger in there and pulling
so for those of you whos headlights (highbeams) are not adjusting
1
remove the light
2
looking from the back of the light, through the highbeam bulb cover hole in the direction away from the lowbeam locate a little brass ball stud
if you can see the head of this stud it is not in properly
3
remove the bulb seat by taking out 2 screws
4
put your finger in, place it over were the ball stud is and pull. it should pop in
5
if you cannot adjust the lowbeams but you dont want to buy new lights but DO have the balls to take the lense off you need to take the projector cowling off to push the ball stud in to the pivot as it is located on the outermost highest most part of the light right next to the lense..
here is a picc
this pic is of the passanger headlight and is looking from the back of the lowbeam to the inside of the housing of the highbeam (through the highbeam bulb cover hole)
the left of the picture is the bottom of the light housing (i was holding it on a angle, only way i could have held it and taken a pic without my hands in the way)
in the picture if you look past the bulb seat screw (one of 2 shown) you can see a little glimmer of copper this is the ball stud in question
perhaps over the years, if its left out in the sun and then suddenly driven fast, the temperature difference in the housing changes quickly enough to make the ball smaller than the plastic and just fall out..
as for the mechanism itself.. i have no idea how it can fail, the outside screw has a gear that rotates another gear thats attached to a screw inside that pushes in/out.. but everything is metal..

Good point, maybe 'inappropriate lower back hair'

Looks good marc
I bought the Q-Ford bushes 2dai. Was gonna get them thtough eBay but realized that QFord is 2min from my house haha. Off to buy a hacksaw and then gonna install really need it my shifter is floating 1" left to right..
RIIIGHT so i changed 4 out of 6 bushes. the bolt that was needed to be cut out.. i left it there cus the bushes were still solid on it and were not worne at all. the major improvement came from replacing the ones directly under the stick.. that one was GONE LOL
less than 5mm float now LOVE IT
