[color=#000000ost_uid0]ha, thanks Dan, but I think it's a bit too 'sick re look at me' style... I don't mind the widebody guards, but yeah, a bit too much for my liking.
Eric, the bar of the New Sport should still fit onto my car yesh? Are you talking about the size of the fog lights or where they are mounted? cheers[/colorost_uid0] |

[color=#000080ost_uid0]new style? i thought it was from car mate.
anyway, i was referring to the size and the location of the spot lights on that bar. i think that bar was designed more for the normal 1.8 litre astinas.[/colorost_uid0]

[color=#000000ost_uid0]Don't like the paint/sticker job, but the bodykit looks alright. Hey rupe, do you know if you can get the clear Lexus-style lights for our model?? I reckon that'd look pretty kewl. Wouldn't want to spend that kind of money on lights though.[/colorost_uid0]

[color=#000000ost_uid0]Yeah I thought so. Pity 'cause it's a really good, different looking car. You could do a lot with it if you could get the right parts. Oh well, I prefer the sleeper look anyway, so it's probably just as well in my case. I'm not tempted to put anything over the top on. That way, when you pull up alongside some riceboy with his WRX or whatever, you can give him a scare ::[/colorost_uid0]

[color=#000000ost_uid0]now that i'm a bit more confident with fibreglass and bog, next project (now that my new mirrors are done) is to make a set of tailights in this sort of style:

[color=#000000ost_uid0]Well, that [iost_uid0]WOULD[/iost_uid0] be different. *If you want somebody's car to try it out on.....oh, wait, I'm in Sydney. *Oh, well. I bet nobody would have the same look though.
I go more for the latin look though... ::[/colorost_uid0]

[color=#FF0000ost_uid0]I withdraw my "bloody tryhard" comment. We all make mistakes (me in particular).
What i meant was that it's a little disappointing that he's done no exterior work, and done the interior real nice. If he has the money, it'd be a real nice car if he did some engine work and did a little looking around for bodykits, and paints, that could be a very sweet car. thanks for backing me up eric, appreciate it. no offence meant by any of the stuff i said, it was just hell badly put.[/colorost_uid0]

[color=#000000ost_uid0]Well I guess the car was interesting enough to create a bit of chat and ummm "controversy"
Of course mine looks waaay smoother. Everybody at Canberra Cruise will agree or I will have a pout [/colorost_uid0]

[color=#000080ost_uid0]after seeing mick and leanne looking at peter's taillights, i have decided to make a set of taillights this weekend.
its very similar to the pics dan put up here today. basically it is a reverse style of what peter has. for the hatch astina that is. anyone interested in taillight covers (round light style)?[/colorost_uid0]
