From memory a 5-10mm spacer will sort it on the rear.
Have a search here - it's been done heaps of times.

Yep, will not fit on rear without using spacers. And using spacers makes your car 100% illegal for street use.

MPS wheels would be even worse - the offset of those is way too high.

So from what I'm seeing here, the fronts should be fine but I'll need spacers for the rear?

Yeah what I done was chucked a 15mm spacer extension, but it didn't clear the lugs on the hub and weren't letting the wheel sit properly! So I Chucked on 12mm spacer no extension in between the hub and extension spacer so it could sit flush! also you gotta roll the guards aswell!
Or you could just get 10mm spacers no extension and extended lugs and change the stock ones and put those ones in! Got quoted $80 from repco to order extension lugs (they gotta order them in) |

ok, test fit the wheels last week, with 8 mm spacers they rub on guards and on shocks...

the only way to make mps rims (18x8 rims) and rx8 rims fit nicely is with coilovers.. that way you can wind in enought camber, and the shock is smaller too.

Inwas about to say, i've run RX8 wheels on mine and never had a issue touching the strut.
It will be fine with the guards aswell as long as your not tooo low and the guards a rolled. Mate i''m also in wollongong happy to give you a hand, i think i may have spoken to your mate at total tools!!
