Built a KLZE BA hatch about a decade ago

Hi folks,
As the title states I put a KLZE in our 94 astina hatch automatic about a decade ago and its been okay. They fit in fairly easily although the strut brace didn't fit back in. I didn't chip it though, and put it together with the KF airflow meter and left the stock computer. Ive just got all nostalgic with it as I polished it last weekend because im about to sell it so I thought Id post up some pics.

Heres a pic of the motor, taken during the install. I didn't put the polished front cam cover on until I had finished. I don't have any finished pix, I just slammed the bonnet and started driving. I'll get some more motor pix this weekend

Thanks for the welcome.

It's almost stock visually, only painted handles and front lip, 35%tint, black mesh grille and 98 M badging.

When I get pix of the engine bay i'll create a post in the perf section showing the swap and summarizing my experience with it

Edit: and I shaved the front licence mount on the bumper so the licence plate fits better :-)

Beautiful. How much do you think it'd be worth?

Is the car a auto ?
Cause I know you said you put a KLZE in your auto hatch, just curious if you left it auto or converted it to manual

It's still an automatic.
In 2004 at about 140K the radiator broke where the top hose attaches and the car was driven until the motor was damaged. I decided to swap in the KLZE after being impressed with its condition in an importers warehouse while looking for another KF. The engine looked almost brand new on the outside, and was a very light gold inside the cam covers. The car had a major trans overhaul in 2011. It's has done 240K now. I'm going to ask $4500 for it

The body is in better nick than dukes was and sold for a similar price. However he had a few mods and manual. Good luck with the sale. Just hope it goes to an appreciative ownee.

Body looks in good nick like you said but Dukes was a KF-ZE as this is a KL-ZE which is the bigger/better engine if I'm not mistaken.
Would have been nice if it was a manual, but I like the auto's
If this was in Sydney, i know a friend that might have been interested.
But good luck .
