Try a search of the forums, as it's been covered a few times in the past.

what kinda info? ur going to need to strenghten the internals, new injectors, fuel pump, ems, so basivcally be good to start with a BPT platform take of the turbo, get a supercharger (either the one from the 4AGZE rolla engine, or the next one up i think is of the 1GZE or somthing) then get cutom piping to put it all in and get it tuned

I actually just want to find out what charger will fit. I’m only looking for 0.4bar or there about. So no need to open the engine.
Preferably a screw type charger. What type is the MR2 charger?
I heard the C230 kompressor is very popular, but that is a bit too expensive
I just want to do a straight bolt on. Will manufacture the brackets and piping myself and get a small cooler from somewere.
And do I put an extended pulley onto the water pump pulley, or do I remove the water pump and replace that with an electric one and then stick the charger in there?

depends on wat fits i spose, i think the mr2 supercharger has more capacity then the 4agze....it is limited to only handle bout 8psi i think unless u rebuild it, and its only small so might be worth a look as well

i don't care about big boost. the reason i want supercharge in stead of turbo is to eliminate lag. i do track racing, not drags. so i need all the low down torque i can get instantly out of the bends.

Have a look on fordlaser.com there is a guy who has done the conversion there with the
same engine. Only supercharger conversion I know of.
