troubl, they use various suppliers, otherwise they'd be kings springs, or they'd be a KYB distributer

If you look on the Whiteline webstore some of the options you will see are:

SPRINGS-COILS OTHER (King springs are here)
SPRINGS-DOBINSON COILS (Dobinson springs are here)
SPRINGS-WHITELINE COILS (Whiteline springs are here)

If you look on the Shocks & Dampers page you will see the paragraph below.

We use only the best brands in the world like KYB, Koni and Bilstein and also offer a custom design and manufacture service for race teams and serious street cars to develop coil-overs or specialized valving solutions.

So who’s right and who’s wrong??? Well I’m not making that judgment except that arguments like this can be avoided if people do a little research for themselves.

Whiteline do make springs but if the car is a low quantity item why go
to the expense of tooling up if you can just buy them through someone
else. The do make them for the 1.8 BA they made and remade mine a
couple of times at the workshop to get the height right.

My package says W0441-20 so that should be 20mm, I am hanging to get the damn things in when the donk comes out. Yeah I was a bit disappointed with the lack of front bar but it is claimed to be "bloody good" so I just replace all that I can and put up with it.................for now.
Mal, what are you doing to the motor now???

thank phuk4dat !!!

well thats it !!! i finally got it all strap in. shy of swaybar to chassis poly-bushes. i'll worry bout the balljoint type ends L8r ... i gotta m8 that recos balljoints whilst still on the vehicle, so that won't be all that hard to do.

having said that, it handles absolutely phukin unreal!!!
ended up with 50mm less. kings & (i'm still strachin my head) BOGE struts...
they're not adjustable, i decided i don wanna be under the car all the time adjusting the adjustments on the adjustable strus (if ya kno wat i mean !!!).
the old struts n springs were knackered!
the struts were shot puppies n the springs had sprung & were moving around.
as i lifted the strutboot, the top of the struts werre covered in a fine powder which can only imagine was grindings from the bumper stoppers.

By the look you're missing the shift and some other keys. Would you like me to send you a working keyboard and get you an english tutor?

Talking astina (G)rammar (T)eachers

cosmo ur always good for a laugh, but i actually do have keyboard that has several sticking keys... my english is superb, wen i wanna str8 ch@!, smart enough to read through other's slang and mistakes and wise enough to let them conduct themselves in a manner they see fit.
my job does not require me to sit and type, nor do i wish to type all day. so i break it into abbr. slang & str8 foreward reading.
i'm deeply symphetic towards you, if it is hard for your upper celebreal lobe to understand the text on the screen that sits just off the end of your optical nerve... but hey!
OH & 1 LAST THING... (REALLY) HAS TWO Ls

batman u kno they're bull ets cannot harm me..! MY WINGS ARE LIKE SHIELDS OF STEEL!!! hows ya car comin along? ya tightened those engine mounts to the implant yet m8?

Thanks man, the Avatar is of a real life genuine chicaboo spotted on the Newcastle Australia Day cruise. I'm a few shades lighter than that myself. But I can be quite often seen chowing down in one of my many hats in any case...

That song is called 'Informer' by 'Snow', from the album '12" of Snow' from late 1993. Sorry I couldn't resist touting some lyrics around, I thought it was so funny.

This isn't about exact spelling and please not about grammar.
I'd rather posts be easy to read than corrected with a red marker, that would only tend to turn people away. Unfortunatly for me Troubls' posts cross the line.

I think this thread was 'bout sway bars.

As a mod, i'm siding with Cosmo here.

It's not hard to type coherent sentences. Most people on here use some common abbreviations like afaik, atm etc.

Using punctuation and capitalisation is all about making yourself understood to other users of this forum. Just because you know what your abbreviations mean, doesn't mean that everyone will. not all people on here are internet geeks...maybe

anyway, just think of the kittens when typing on here. think of the kittens!!!
