New on the forum, young in the world.

Heya guys.

Just registered, and fresh out of the oven. I'm from Malaysia.

I just bought myself a second-hand Mazda Astina BG10P2 Astina Hatch SP, but mine's the 1.6 Manual version. I'm not sure whether you guys are familiar with this, but I'm quite sure you guys are. It's the twin cam, fuel injection type engine.

I owned a 1975 Volkswagen Beetle Classic 1.6 before, but sold it for a more modern car. Might go back to the Volks one day, but certainly not now. Been a fan of the Astina Hatch since it was first introduced. Love the flip-ups.

Anyways, just wanna say hi and looking forward for guidance and some knowledge, if they are meant to be shared.

Cheers guys.

hey ziniac! welcome to AGT! I grew up in KL, whereabouts are you from? The way things are in Malaysia, there's heaps you can do to your car, well according to my friend, all for a small 'fee' to the road department - Malaysia Boleh! Hahaha. Welcome once again.

KL, I'm staying in Cheras.

Corruption, as I was told, is a wonderful thing in Malaysia. Hehehe. But I'm not planning to change the engine or go for extreme mods. Just wanna make the car look good and perform well.

Rupewrecht, I can see that you have both as well. Nice... I'll attach the pics soon.

Thanks for the welcome guys!
