Angry SP20 vs Kangaroo

Last night about 1am I was happily driving with my gf out near Bathurst, when b4 i knew it a roo jumps straight out in front of me. Im not to sure what speed I was doing but it would of been close to 100kph.

It doesnt look to bad but the front end is all twisted, the headlight is non existent, the horn was pushed back and put a big hole in the air con condencer thing

This is what happens!:

Tough break, those links don't work for me...

I hit a Kangaroo in my 97 1.6 Rolla back in the day. The impact caused my ashtray to pop out, the passenger side window to drop an inch, and the radiator got pushed back onto the EGO sensor and broke it causing it to run like ****. Anyhow, in classic old school Toyota fashion, you look at the front and there is only an impression in the bumper where the tow hook connected with it. My 96 Camry was the same after getting hit in the rear at 40kph while I was stopped at a red light. Those damn Toyotas just pop back out!

Gav.

You're quite lucky, looks like it's only a bumper and headlight. How's the radiator?

Lucky a glancing blow could have been really nasty, not that all is good now but you get what I mean.

What did you hit the tail, back legs or the noggin?

Thanks for the comments comments on the car

Im very lucky i hit it where i did cause one through the window wouldnt of been very nice, i just put a new windscreen in her!

As for the kangaroo, i dont think his relos will be thinking to highly of me considering the thing basically exploded on inpact. Not exactly the best sight in the world and cleaning blood off the car was not something i had planned for the sat morning!. Im not sure what part of it i hit.. i think all of it.

As far as damage is conserned:

* radiator support badly damaged
* headlight
* front bar
* air con condencer
* side guard is damaged
* my grille is cracked
* one week old blue visions... gone
+ god knows what else!

main thing is that we were ok, gf was bit shocked and didnt talk much for awhile (kinda a good thing!).. but **** happens.. im not insured either!

I hit a ped a few months ago........now thats ****!!!!

They were ok, no broken bones............but my car......MY POOR CAR!!!!!..

8000 thousand worth of damage(rand that is)...............headlight, bumper, fender, windscreen, mirror.......all had to be fully replaced.........left side.......

The ped ran out from behind parked cars......i was doing about 50km/h.........

Its the ******* feeling ever when you look to your left after the impact and see hair stuck in the broken windscreen........kinda gives you that worst case scenario feeling...............which fortunately was not the case.......

Somehow none of the internals on the car were damaged.........it was a 96 escort sport.........
