sp20 in Brissy
Hi everyone
My name is scott and ive already met afew of you, phil who is helping me with my fs-ze engine (hi phil) and dan who i'm about to buy some gear from. I'm a proud owner of a silver BJII-J48 protege sp20 which at the moment is not running lol hence the fs-ze being shipped to me. The car is already lowered with improved suspension and sports exhaust system with extractors. (don't know what brands done before i bought it!) Besides the engine replacment im not sure what i plan to do yet as i'll have a few grand left after the engine goes in. my thoughts so far have been * air intake but having trouble finding a shop in brisbane that can help in this regard. * gear box service (second and third gear are a little clunky) * rear strut brace * new steering wheel since mine started falling apart at 3 and 9 on the wheel (thanks to dan i will have a nardi wheel and mazdaspeed gear knob) * front bumper fixed as some bugger hit my front in a car park grrr aaaaand i have no idea what else lol (but i'm open to suggestions) when the engine arrives ill start posting pics as i go sorry for the long post!........... and spelling mistakes lol |

Hi and welcome to AGT
Nice to see that you have finally posted up here and am looking forward to catching up at a future meet. We seem to have very frequent meets in Brisneyland so I am sure there will be something to suit you. Your motor must be between Christchurch and here by now! |

im not sure at them moment its a choice between fs-ze ecu or just get my ecu remapped if its possible! either way it will need a dyno tune .
thanks for the welcomes everybody, and would you believe phil that the crate has only just arrived to the shop so my engine hasn't even been picked up yet :-( |

yeah fill said the current ecu is ok just a touch more power in the fsze.
the ecu wasn't my main worry at the moment id like a custom box intake and have no idea where to get one in brissy and what are my options on the gear box. |
