Aftermarket BA / CBAEP Springs Rates ???

Hello all,

Just wondering what spring rates all the aftermarket springs are out there for BA Astina/Lantis/323F? In kg or lbs rates, it don't matter. 1 kg = 55 lbs.

Please list it so if is clear to read, eg:-

Lovells = Fronts 2.90kg and Rears 1.75kg

Cheers for any info.

Ryan

are they are normal or Ti2000 versions?

I think they must be normal, as Ti2000 are F4.2 R2.3 i think?

Seems like the lb/ft measures and the kg/mm measures got mixed up in the conversion...

1 kg/mm = 56 lb/ft

Most coilovers come with 7kg/mm Front and 5kg/mm rear

Kings only do a low, and its 270lbs front and 150lbs progressive rears, and will drop the car about 30mm...
am i correct in saying that 270/56 = 4.8kg/mm and rear are 2.6kg/mm?

Are the MazdaSpeed Eibachs the same as my Pro-Kit ones?

And anyone have any idea what the spring rates for King SuperLows and Whiteline Flatouts would be? I wanna figure out how much extra comfort I could be having LOL

I'm pretty sure there are king super lows for the BA cuz I was so close to getting those but in the end decided to pay the big bucks and get the Eibachs instead.

I know its not on their online catalogue but im sure i've seen them in a hard copy once.

there are super lows as i debated getting them to get the slammed look.

whiteline/lovell do:
- control
- flatout

king
- low
- super-ass-numbing-low

I called up Eibach today and apparently Pro-Kit springs have the following specs

BA Astina 1.8
Drop: F: 30mm / R: 30mm.
Spring rates: F: 2.86kgf/mm / R: 1.33-2.04kgf/mm (Progressive)

Now i'm confused as to why my car is so bumpy. Maybe its the KYB shocks or the bushes?

Also anyone know what the spring rate of the stock BA Astina 1.8 springs are?
