BA gear box differances???

i just got myself a new box as my old one went the same way as many of my drifting boxes haha
andway, i picked it up from ekw in keilor,.
took my old box out and lined the 2 up together well there are a fair few differances, 2 of the bigest differances are the top mounting point similar to an engine mount, my old one had 3 studs coming out from the box where the mount attached, the new box has a bracket in that position that has then the 3 studs coming out of it. these studs end up being alot higher then my original.
the 2nd problem and the one that has really s$#%&ed me up the wall, the new gearbox has a much thicker imput shaft.
now ok this in most cases would be a good thing, but this is just my daily crapper, no intention of EVER having a turbo on it or the like, (i have a track silvia allready)
ok so they both come from BA 1.8l astinas, but they are differant.
can someone shed some light on this for me.

BA 1.8 boxes were either 'F' or 'G' series. F25M-R are more fragile and G25M-R are good, the series 1 (JM0BA11P1...) have the G series while later models have the F series.
there is a casting mark close to the diff.

What did you break in your F? I've got 3 in various states of disrepair if you just need some parts.
