Nasa finds et!!
not really lol
tomorrow 6am local time nasa will hold a press conference in regards to new findings that relate to astrobiological research. some ppl say its in regards to arsenic powered life forms, others say that nasa discovered life on one of the jupiter or saturn (OR EVEN MARS) some sources even say that they discovered a planet full of what seems to be blue bipedal animals and a very abundant source of unobtanium but seriously tho this should be somewhat interesting none the less what do you all think |

Yeah, I have read a few things about it will be more of an announcement about how they found something that had the potential to sustain life - more than they had found actual life somewhere else.
Should be interesting. Although why they chose to announce just a few hours after the football World Cup host country announcement is a bit strange

I dunno, i tend to think that NASA etc have a limited view of what constitutes life on other planets. Who says that some gaseous cloud isn't the equivalent of Earth humanoid life in terms of speech/thought/cababilities, and we just don't have the ability/equipment to understand that? Just my 2c anyway

i reckon there has to be life somewhere...2 reasons. 1 it is a statistical impossability that we are the only lifeforms in the universe and 2...if we ARE the only one then maybe those damn bible bashers are right...in which case ill shave my head and become a eunuch

Whatever it is, I'm guessing that it will be interesting but not earth-shattering news. I think they are stirring up some publicity

That's my poin of view.. What if it can survive in 1500C and 4000psi or just feed on solar radiation with no need for atmosphere.. |

one of jupiter or saturns moons had carbon dioxide or some crap in the air...may of even been oxygen...but only a .00001% of what we have here or something...may be there...they are thinking it may give us secrets on how the earth became the way it did...

Yeah I read that elsewhere but NASA wasn't mentioned as anything to do with it, it was a paper put out by some microbiologists, wasn't even in a big name journal which is weird.
