help for engine swap!

hi guys, i am a new member of this website,i have a BA 97 model astina, currently planning to swap a bpt engine. there's a 96 bpt engine package around 90000kms, quote me $2200 include ecu etc. could any of you guys give me some suggestions about it? appreciate it.

For $2200 you can get a front cut which will be far more useful to you

Search....
I wonder what could possibly be listed in the forced induction category.
If you ask a specific question then it will be answered but if u ask the
"I wanna Turbo my Astina" question with no effort on your part by even looking
not to many people will waste their time on you.

I got a halfcut for 2k earlier on in the year, not inc. delivery.

However I have searched for another one for a friend recently, the price has gone up sharply it would seem, however I only tried perth yards.

BP - BPT engine conversions have been done more then a few times on these forums, theres progress threads from a few and plenty of FAQ's to be found around.

thanks guys, that $2200 BPT engine includes ecu,intercooler and piping, the guy said it comes as a package. i could not find any half cut,my qustion was "is this price good?" wish any of you guys give some suggestions, thank you!

That is not a question. That is, as Mal said "Hey guyzzz I want to put da tubo in mah car. How does I do it".

Do youself a favour and search this section of the forums. There is HEAPS of information, if you get stuck and want to ask a SPECIFIC question feel free to but if you can not help yourself why should we help you?

i have seen halfcuts between 1.5 and 3k for gtx. in my opinion when u can get a halfcut for the same price it isn't worth it unless u cant find a halfcut and need the engine desperately

$2200 in not a good price, $13-1500 would be for only motor/turbo/ecu/piping/intercooler/etc

i got a quote for a bpt halfcut minus the gearbox for $1.8..and full half cuts for 2-2.5k so yeh i agree with ryry
